Only 4 ingredients for this decadent fudge, perfect for a quick holiday gift! I think the food marketers know me the second I walk into the grocery store during the Christmas season. Christmas themed Oreos, candy, ice cream… I feel like I want need to try them all!! I’m a HUGE sucker for the seasonal treats. Lucky for my waistline I have two kiddos who could level a bag of M&M’s in about 5 minutes, so I rarely wind up getting them through the checkout. Christmas Oreos? Ok, no, seriously – they were coming home with me! Oreos are one of my favorite store bought cookie and I know there are lots of copycat recipes on some of my favorite food blogs, but sometimes I just want the crinkle of that plastic tray. Is that odd? I sure hope not, haha! I really love making yummy treats that are perfectly giftable, just like this easy fudge. I made a batch and then just stacked pieces in a regular mason jar that I picked up at the dollar store. Tie it with a few pieces of curly ribbon, and you have a present anyone would love to receive! Is there red food coloring in this recipe? No, the red colored marbled effect comes from the red filling from the Christmas Oreos. No food coloring needed! Do I measure the Oreos before or after crushing? Measure out 2 cups of WHOLE Oreos, then crush them in the plastic bag. How to make Christmas Oreo Fudge: Measure out whole Oreo cookies, the kind with the red filling found at Christmas time, and place them in a ziploc bag. Seal and crush finely with a rolling pin. Set bag aside. In a saucepan, combine white chocolate chips, salt, and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low heat, stirring often, until chips are completely melted. Remove from heat and gently stir in crushed Oreo crumbs. Line a baking dish with foil and spray with non stick spray. Spread melted chocolate mixture into pan and refrigerate until firm. Use the foil overhand to lift the fudge out of the pan. Slice and serve! I really love that you could use any holiday themed Oreo as well. So fun and easy, you gotta love that! Nicole says December 16, 2019 at 3:16 pm Silly question. Do you need 2 cups of Oreos ore-crushed or a total of 2 cups crushed? Hope my question makes sense. Thank you! Reply
Kelly Miller says December 16, 2019 at 3:39 pm Measure the two cups of whole Oreo cookies, and then crush them. You could do 2 cups of crushed cookies instead, you’d just have more cookie pieces throughout the fudge. Reply
