Cheesy Herb Pizza Sticks By Kelly Miller • September9,2013 • Updated April 10, 2018 • 2 Comments3.5K2 Garlic, herbs, and CHEESE baked on a pizza crust and dipped in marinara – yum! I’m completely a girl when it comes to sports. Fortunately, Paul isn’t hugely into anything besides baseball (if the Phillies are winning) or football. Unfortunately my dad watches football regardless of the teams that are playing and when we’re over my parent’s house, Paul parks himself right there next to him the whole time. I. Hate. Watching. Football. It’s boring! It’s so annoying, too because they have cable (we’ve cancelled ours and use the beloved Roku player* to stream Netflix and Amazon Prime instead). So basically what I would LOVE to be able to watch when I’m there is some good HGTV. I’ll even watch Pawn Stars (because secretly I love that show). Seriously, how long is football season anyway? It’s over in January, right? Ok I just Googled it (don’t laugh) and it’s February. OMG I’m gonna die! I wind up just sitting there eating, which I guess isn’t all that bad. These amazing easy Cheesy Herb Pizza Sticks taste like you just ordered them – they are seriously that good and addicting. You will absolutely need to make two or three for a crowd so be prepared! Cheesy Herb Pizza Sticks 1 tube refrigerated thin crust pizza dough (from the can) 1/2 cup frozen diced onion, no need to thaw 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon thyme 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 cup prepared pizza sauce Unroll dough onto a greased cookie sheet. In a small bowl, stir together the onion, garlic, olive oil, oregano, Italian seasoning, and thyme. Spread mixture evenly over dough. Sprinkle with mozzarella and then top with the Parmesan. Bake at 400 for 8-11 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes, then slice in half lengthwise, and then into 10 strips. Serve with warmed pizza sauce. So to my fellow football haters – happy eating! 😀 More game day munchies: Avocado Hummus Shrimp Cocktail Dip Don’t miss another Mostly Homemade Mom recipe!
