One of the best french dip sandwich recipes I’ve ever had! Happy Labor Day weekend, foodie friends! I look forward to this weekend every year. For years when I taught elementary school, it signaled the beginning of the school year and the beginning of the fall season for me. I know, I know, we still have a few weeks until the first “official” day of fall, but Labor day means it’s beginning for me. And more importantly, I can start decorating! Last week I asked a bunch of you on Facebook how early is too early to put out a fall wreath and the general consensus is to wait until September 1st. Well, today is the 2nd and guess what I spent my morning doing yesterday? That’s right! I took a trip to a local discount decor store, Christmas Tree Shops, and snagged three great mums from a local roadside farm stand. Of course I put out my favorite burlap wreath, made by me! ….Oh, what you wanted a picture?? NOT YET! We just moved into this house in June, and I have some more ideas to get the front entryway really spruced up. I promise I’ll share a pic when I’m all done! You know how much I love Crockpot dinners, just set it in the morning and forget about it all day until everyone’s ready to eat for dinner. And this one is no different! I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing these sandwiches were – and they’re so simple to put together, too!
