Apple Streusel Bread By Kelly Miller • August30,2016 • Updated March 12, 2020 • 33 Comments 425 7 Jump to Recipe This Apple Streusel Bread recipe is the only apple bread recipe you need! Fresh chopped apples in a sweet bread batter with a ribbon of brown sugar streusel in the middle. Perfect for fall gift giving! *Update from 8/30/16* This apple bread is still one of my absolute favorite all-time recipes here on Mostly Homemade Mom! I originally posted this recipe almost 4 years ago and my family is still enjoying this recipe today. I’ve made this bread several times over the years for company and visitors to my house, as well as various church potlucks and bake sales. I’ve updated the photos in this post for easy pinning and sharing. Let me know how much you enjoy this bread, I know you will! -Kelly I can’t begin to describe how wonderfully amazing this bread is! Not even joking. I actually whipped this up in about 10 minutes after lunch last week while Wesley was napping. The last few honey crisp apples from our apple picking day were sitting on the counter just yelling at me to make something tasty. SOOO happy I chose this out of my many, many, MANY pins with apples. I really liked how the apples were extremely soft in this bread, easy for teething toddlers to gobble up. 🙂 This bread is absolutely delicious next to a hot cup of coffee on a cool fall morning. During apple season, everyone needs a good solid apple bread recipe and you’ve found it right here! You know how much I love this season! 🙂 Apple Streusel Bread Apple Streusel Bread 4.11 from 29 votes Print Pin Rate Course: DessertCuisine: AmericanKeyword: recipe for apple streusel bread Prep Time: 15 minutes minutesCook Time: 1 hour hour Servings: 8 servings Calories: 391kcal Author: Kelly Miller Ingredients▢ 1/2 cup butter softened▢ 1 cup sugar▢ 2 eggs▢ 1 tbsp lemon juice▢ 2 tsp vanilla▢ 2 cups flour▢ 1 tsp baking soda▢ 1/4 tsp salt▢ 2 cups apple peeled and dicedTopping ingredients:▢ 2 tbsp brown sugar▢ 2 tbsp sugar▢ 2 tbsp flour▢ 1 tbsp butter▢ 1 tsp cinnamon InstructionsIn the bowl of a stand mixer, blend butter, sugar, eggs, lemon juice, and vanilla. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt.
