- 3-4 lb beef bottom roast
- 1/2 onion peeled and sliced into thin rings
- 1 green pepper seeded and sliced into rings
- 14 oz can beef broth
- 1 oz pkg Italian salad dressing mix dry
- sliced provolone cheese
- 8 hoagie rolls
Place roast in the bottom of a Crockpot.
Top with onion, green peppers, beef broth, and dry dressing mix.
Cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours.
Remove roast from Crockpot and slice thinly (it should fall apart).
Return slices/pieces of roast to Crockpot and combine well with sauce and juices.
Serve on rolls with small ramekins filled with additional sauce for dipping.
