Transforming beer bread into muffins is such a great idea for parties, too. Perfect portioned sizes for all of your guests! What is beer bread? Beer bread is bread made with beer, or any carbonated beverage. The carbonation give the bread air and the flavor of the beer makes this bread absolutely delicious! What’s in this recipe? How to make this recipe? Melt butter in a pan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until you start to really smell the garlic, only about 1 minute. Remove pan from the heat and set it aside. 2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the dry ingredients. 3. Add in the beer and the melted butter & garlic mixture. 4. Stir batter just until moistened. 5. Divide batter evenly into a 12 cup muffin tin that has been sprayed with non stick spray. Bake and cool before serving! Recipe pro tips: The beer can be substituted with non alcoholic beer or cream soda Use 2.5 cups self rising flour instead of the flour + baking powder + salt Brush melted butter on muffin tops just after taking out of the oven for a golden glow Can these be frozen? Absolutely! I like to make a double batch, wrap with plastic wrap, and freeze in plastic bags for a quick soup side dish!
