These are the best cookies with a cold glass of milk! I’ve never been a fan of those plain peanut butter cookies everyone always raves about. I love PB&J sandwiches and I’m totally addicted to Reese’s cups, but I’ve never been huge into peanut butter cookies. Paul, on the other hand, is obsessed with them. So I went on the hunt for a peanut butter cookie that had something mixed in for me. These were so good! I liked them so much, I actually made a second batch right away and stuck them in the freezer for my cookie trays. Yum! Kelly Miller says May 19, 2013 at 12:12 am I'm sorry Pepper, I don't really do gluten free here! I have to admit, I'm not really knowledgeable in that area. Are there substitutions you could make? Reply
Melanie says July 25, 2013 at 3:04 pm I made these cookies last night; while they're tasty, they are quite dry. The dough did not hold together well both before and after cooking. If I were to make them again (and I might because they really are yummy), I would probably add another 4T of butter. Reply
Kelly Miller says July 25, 2013 at 3:17 pm Oh, I'm sorry they were too dry for you Melanie! They are a drier cookie, but I haven't had problems with the dough holding together. If you do add the butter, be sure to let me know how it turned out! Reply

Bjora says February 18, 2022 at 2:35 pm I’ve baked these cookies almost for 10 years and they are still my favourite (and always a success when I gift some). I turned them into metric (I’m from Europe), maybe because of the conversion they were never dry to me. Thanks for the recipe! Reply
