Mickey Mouse Trail Mix By Kelly Miller • February21,2017 • Updated February 18, 2020 • 1 Comment 1.8K Jump to Recipe This Mickey Mouse Trail Mix is absolutely adorable! Pretzels, yogurt covered raisins, and M&M’s – this munch mix is perfect for your kids to snack on during their first trip to Disney World! At 16 months old, Reuben has lots of favorite characters. He loves watching Sesame Street for Elmo and Cookie Monster, and Daniel Tiger is another favorite. Of them all, though, Mickey Mouse tops the list! He was obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and now absolutely loves Mickey and the Roadster Racers. He’s so cute when he spots a Mickey book or a stuffed animal with his goofy grin. He’s adorable! We’re SO EXCITED because this spring we’re taking the kids to Disney World for the first time. This will literally be the first time any of us have ever been there – and first plane ride for me and the kids as well! Those of you who have been to Disney World know what I mean when I say… THE PLANNING. So. Much. Planning. But I think it’ll probably all be worth it when we finally get down there and we already have our food and rides planned out. At least that’s what everyone tells me! One thing I’m pretty nervous of is the plane ride. Our older boys are 5 and 7 and they will be just fine with their backpacks stuffed with books, tablets, small toys, and snacks. Reuben on the other hand… well let’s just say I’m going to try and pack that diaper bag full of tricks to get him through the 2 hour ride. Any tips you might have for a first flight with a toddler – I’m all ears!! I’m planning on making a larger batch of this snack mix, putting them into snack baggies, and having them ready for the plane ride and as a snack while we’re in Disney. Don’t the pretzels look a lot like Mickey Mouse?! The red and yellow M&Ms along with the white yogurt covered raisins are those classic Mickey colors. Everyone in your family will be begging for more batches of this yummy trail mix! The boys were so excited to see this Mickey Munch Mix sitting on the counter after school one day. I have to admit, the salty sweet combination in this mix made it pretty addicting! What tips do you have for a family traveling to Disney for the first time? I’d love to chat more about it with you in the comment section below!! If you liked this Mickey Mouse Trail Mix recipe leave a rating and a comment below this post!
