Crockpot Cheeseburgers By Kelly Miller • May9,2014 • Updated January 22, 2020 • 15 Comments100.5K14143 Jump to Recipe Crockpot Cheeseburgers are a total family hit dinner! Ground beef slow cooks in a tangy, cheesy sauce. Top with your favorite burger toppings! I have always been a pretty serious pickle fan. Actually, our nickname for the boys has always been “pickle” and they both love pickles, too. Silas is the weirdo though and doesn’t like them on his burgers, so he always picks them off. No clue where he got that from! Kosher pickles were always my favorite as a kid. We called them “Jewish” pickles and they were always found in the deli department in big barrels. My mom would give one of us the job of fishing out a pickle from the barrel and tying it up in the wax paper pickle bag. The only problem was, the pickle was usually gone before all the lunch meat was! These Crockpot Cheeseburgers are slow cooked in melty cheese, chopped garlic pickles, and onions. They are going to be a serious staple in this house when it’s too hot out to cook, or even to grill! Serve them on nice crusty rolls, they’re even great as a filling in wraps. Top them as you would a normal cheeseburger – yum! If you liked this Crockpot Cheeseburgers recipe, leave a rating and a comment below this post! Angeles says December 7, 2018 at 12:21 am Hi Kelly, I have made this recipe twice and both times it has been great! I have omitted the onions since they don’t agree with me, but I have used onion powder and it worked perfectly. I have done this as a recipe for 2 and made into sliders – so fun! I do however feel like it could use something else – any ideas? Do you add ketchup or bbq sauce? Thanks! Angeles Reply
Kelly Miller says December 7, 2018 at 9:28 pm BBQ sauce, ketchup, Sriracha, bacon, tomato, lettuce… OH MAN I need to put these on my menu plan for next week – ha! Let me know if you tried any other toppings/condiments and how it turned out Angeles! Reply
