Softened cream cheese, marshmallow fluff, pumpkin puree, and spices – perfect with ginger snaps! Oh how I absolutely love this time of the year! Our family goes ALL IN with pumpkin recipes, and this easy Pumpkin Dip was a total hit. Not a surprise to me at all! Not everyone loves ginger snaps though, so if your family is not a fan of those, you can easily use apple slices or graham crackers as dippers instead. If you’re making this for a party, I would suggest doubling the dip recipe and then serving all three dipper options! Is pumpkin puree or pumpkin pie mix used? You’ll need pumpkin puree for this pumpkin dip recipe. Where is marshmallow fluff located in the grocery store? You can find jars of marshmallow fluff, or sometimes called marshmallow creme, along with the peanut butter and jelly in the grocery store. In my stores, it’s located near the loaves of bread as well. How to make pumpkin dip: Place the cream cheese, marshmallow fluff, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl. Beat ingredients well with a hand mixer until smooth. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Serve pumpkin dip with ginger snaps for dipping. Can pumpkin dip be made ahead of time? If you’re planning a party, you can mix up this pumpkin dip the night before and have it covered in the refrigerator overnight. Just remove it and allow it to warm up closer to room temperature about an hour before you’re ready to serve (otherwise it may be too stiff for dipping). Can pumpkin dip be frozen? No, because of the cream cheese in this dip it cannot be frozen. Cream cheese will change texture considerably during the freeze/thaw process.
