Iced Caramel Latte By Kelly Miller • August7,2018 • Updated August 14, 2018 • 3 Comments 2.9K Jump to Recipe This is a sponsored post. The opinions and text are all mine. Making your own iced caramel latte is so easy! Strong coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts Caramel Creamer, whipped cream, and ice with an extra caramel drizzle. There is truly nothing better than a cold coffee drink sitting next to me during the summer time! It’s truly the perfect way to cool off. With an added bonus of a caffeine boost to keep the energy going! I don’t know about you, but I used to get confused between all the different coffee drinks: iced coffee, latte, macchiato, frappe, etc. So many names that all mean different things! I think that might be why it took me so long to attempt making my own versions. Fancy names must mean it must be hard to make, right? Absolutely not! Making your favorite coffee drinks, like this Iced Caramel Latte, is incredibly easy! What is the difference between an iced coffee and an iced latte? It’s really simple! An iced coffee has minimal cream, or none at all if that’s how you like it. An iced latte is prepared espresso or a small amount of strong coffee and cold creamer for a very creamy flavor. Is an iced caramel latte sweet? Because of the Dunkin Donuts Caramel Extra Extra creamer in my recipe, it is mildly sweet on its own. Feel free to add your favorite sweetener if you like it extra sweet, but the sweet level is perfect for me! Here’s how to make iced caramel latte: Fill a 12 oz glass half way with ice and pour 4 ounces of strong brewed coffee over the ice. Add in 2 – 4 ounces Dunkin Donuts Caramel Extra Extra Creamer. Give it a stir! Top with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle! Shortcut tips for a perfect iced latte: Refrigerate extra coffee that you have already brewed rather than brewing a small 4 ounce cup. Keep it in a covered plastic container in the fridge ready to make a latte in a seconds notice! High-quality, Dunkin Donuts Caramel Extra Extra Creamer makes all the difference! It takes a normal coffee drink and elevates it to the next level with creamy caramel flavor that can’t be matched! Flavor tips and variations: Switch out the 4 ounces strong brewed coffee with your favorite flavored coffee such as vanilla or hazelnut to give your iced latte a different flavor profile Swap the caramel creamer with any of the other three varieties of Dunkin Donuts Extra Extra creamers: Original, Extra Extra, or Vanilla Extra Extra. Once the weather cools down in the fall and winter, try this recipe as a hot latte. Just simmer the creamer ahead of time, used hot brewed coffee, and skip the ice! Dunkin Donuts Extra Extra creamers are made with real cream and real sugar to give your drinks and recipes an added rich flavor. I can’t wait to try the other three flavors to make my custom lattes whenever I like! Did you like this DIY Caramel Iced Latte recipe? Give it a rating and leave a comment below the recipe! Kathleen says November 9, 2019 at 10:03 pm I’ve been trying to make this at home all week very unsuccessfully. None of the several recipes I tried even tasted close, until this recipe. It tastes exactly like DD,& now I can make it at home instead of spending $5 a day ???? Reply
