The perfect dip for your next game day! I seriously LOVE the Olympics, specifically the winter games. Anyone that knows me must figure that’s really strange. I pretty much am the most UN-athletic person ever. Not only that, but watching sports usually bores me to death. When we’re over my parent’s house and the guys are watching football or basketball, I usually head to the kitchen, pull out one of my mom’s cookbooks, and start some ideas. The Olympics though, I just love it! You can seriously sit and watch the people that are the BEST in the world at their sport, it’s so fun. These Olympic games have been even more fun now that Silas is actually old enough to watch and cheer for his favorite. He’s now told me on multiple occasions that he is an awesome snowboarder and that we need to go snowboarding before all the snow melts outside. He’s such a cutie! My frame of mind watching the athletes though has completely shifted from, “Wow these people are amazing!” to “Oh my goodness, if they fall they could seriously injury themselves or worse!” I guess it’s the mom in me now. 🙂 This Crockpot Hot Bacon Cheddar Dip is a PERFECT snack to put together while watching the games this year. I’m not sure I can accurately describe how delicious this dip is, you simply have to try it! I served this with buttery crackers and nachos and both were fantastic. Admit it, wouldn’t this dip be great the next night you’re watching the winter games? I thought so! If you liked this Bacon Cheddar Dip recipe, leave a comment and a rating below this post!
