Creamy Baked Ziti By Kelly Miller • January2,2018 • Updated July 24, 2018 • 11 Comments 285 5 Jump to Recipe Jump to VideoThis Creamy Baked Ziti is a total family favorite dinner! Layers of ziti pasta, meat sauce, mozzarella, provolone, and sour cream – absolutely delicious! I originally posted this recipe here on Mostly Homemade Mom over 5 years ago. At the time, I was a full time teacher with a toddler and an infant. Paul and I had our share of layoffs and job losses and we were trying to make ends meet when I decided to see if I could earn a little extra money by trying this “blog thing” along with my teaching job. If you would have told me way back then that this little “blog thing” would now be my fulltime job, I would have said that you’re nutso! I still can’t believe it sometimes that this is my job, I love it THAT much. Thank you for being along with me for the ride! I left the original post below as it originally appeared in 2012 – just with an updated printable recipe card and how-to video. We still absolutely LOVE this baked ziti recipe and I’m sure your family will, too! I have made this recipe for baked ziti for years. My best friend gave it to me, handwritten on an index card, and put it in my wishing well at my bridal shower. Ella was always an amazing cook. Growing up, I can remember standing in her parents’ kitchen making dinner or some fabulous dessert together. I think that might have been where my love of cooking first began! This recipe for ziti is a crowd pleaser. The sour cream in this dish gives it a rich, creamy flavor. We’ve made this for various family functions. It freezes very well also. Serve with a great salad and some bread sticks! Creamy Baked Ziti This Creamy Baked Ziti is a total family favorite dinner! One pan of this make enough for a TON of people, so the 12 person serving size listed on the recipe card is being VERY conservative. You’ll be looking forward to leftovers, though, so be ready!! 285 5
