Bisquick Banana Bread By Kelly Miller • June13,2013 • Updated January 25, 2022 • 11 Comments 4.4K 113 Jump to Recipe This delicious banana bread uses a favorite shortcut, Bisquick! Add in some cream cheese and pecans – this will be one of the best banana breads you’ve ever had! It seems like everyone has their favorite banana bread recipe, right? I actually have a recipe for Buttermilk Banana Bread posted here on Mostly Homemade Mom. That one is light, perfect with coffee in the morning. You could add in chocolate chips also to make it a bit more sweet if needed. I was intrigued by this recipe, though. Bisquick to make a banana bread? Well I was sure it would be quick, but not really sure about the taste. Actually, I was more skeptical about the texture. Biscuits are crumbly and dry, not exactly what I look for in a banana bread! You know what, though? This banana bread was plain and simple – a dessert! It was moist, rich because of the cream cheese, and sweet. I could see serving it with some whipped cream after dinner! It is VERY different from your normal banana bread. I could see packaging up the dry ingredients with directions for a quick and easy gift, too! I just found your blog after coming across your strawberry cobbler recipe, and your farmers market spaghetto recipe on pinterest, I love everything you have posted! Where in Central PA do you live? I live right by York, and there's nothing better than local Pennsylvania fruits & vegetables from the farmers market or amish stands. Reply
