It feels like just yesterday I was still planning for Reuben to make his arrival and it’s already almost the Big Football Game time. We’ve blown past back-to-school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and now Christmas is done. How does this happen? Speaking of Reuben, he’s already our little chunky monkey! The newborn clothes are packed away. I’ll soon be doing that same with the 0-3 month clothes as they’re starting to be a bit short on him now. He’s even grown my beloved baby thigh rolls – can’t get enough of those! One milestone I’m glad we have hit however, is sleeping through the night. I can actually think straight again. And believe me, before I know it, he’ll be building Legos, playing Minecraft, and talking about what sports season is next up. Of course, that’s what Silas is into these days. I’m excited to see how involved he gets in this year’s Big Game as he’s becoming more and more into sports. Wesley loves playing, but isn’t much into watching just yet. I can bet though that Silas will be joining all of us watching this game this year! Of course one of our favorite things to do during the big game is eat! These Beer Cheese Taco Boats are an awesome idea – use the basic recipe below and set out various other topping for guests to customize their own! These taco boats are seriously out of this world good! I’m really in love with Old El Paso’s™ Stand N’ Stuff soft taco boats, it really solves quite a problem I always had on taco night. Soft tacos are my FAVORITE, but it’s so annoying to fill them because they don’t stand up, they just flop around. These boat shaped tortillas are brilliant! You can fill them up easily and not worry about the filling all falling out. I was able to find them on my last grocery trip to Walmart. I definitely plan on making more of these on our next game day gathering! This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of General Mills. The opinions and text are all mine.
