BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip - #KCMasterpiece

May 15, 2014
This addictive dip layers ranch cream cheese, BBQ sauce, bacon, green onion, tomato and cheddar - SO good with tortilla chips!

You all know I'm BIG into dips and this one does not disappoint! I feel like when we have parties around my family, the dips and snacks are just as important as the food! During the summer when we have get togethers - for Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Wesley's birthday at the end of July, or just for any old reason - we usually make my dad grill burgers and barbeque chicken (HA) and the rest is up to us. Potato salad, balsamic strawberry salad (my sister's recipe), and TONS of dips and snacks. My mouth is watering just thinking of it all!

Its just not the same without the right BBQ sauce! This new KC Masterpiece® Kansas City Classic completely lives up to the name - classic! What I love is that they're always coming up with new recipes to try (KC Masterpiece Recipes by Ardie Davis.docx), so be sure to follow KC Masterpiece® on Twitter and Facebook. This BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip is such a great way to use this delicious sauce - spread over ranch cream cheese and topped with layers of bacon (YES), tomato, green onion, and cheddar. Let this dip come to room temperature before serving for optimal dippage! :)

BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip

8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 oz package dry ranch dressing mix
1/2 cup quality BBQ sauce (I used KC Masterpiece® Kansas City Classic)
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese and dry ranch mix until well combined. Spread into a pie dish. Pour BBQ sauce evenly over cream cheese. Layer with most of the crumbled bacon (keep some for garnish), most of the green onion (keep some for garnish as well, diced tomato, then cheese. Top with remaining bacon and green onion. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Allow dip to come to room temperature before serving.

My brother and both my boys INHALED this dip! If you're looking for an easy new appetizer, bingo!
