Banana Applesauce Crescents | Mostly Homemade Mom

Banana Applesauce Crescents

September 4, 2012

I don't really care to look up when fall officially starts because to me, it is here! It is super humid outside here today and I'm DONE! I'm also pretty excited to dress the boys in long sleeves and pants. I've scored some pretty adorable outfits at Goodwill, local thrift shops, and yard sales and in a few weeks we have 2 HUGE kids' consignment sales. Please tell me I'm not the only weirdo that gets excited over new (to me) fall kids' clothes?!

Anyway, last week I whipped these up as a quick and easy breakfast. Silas and Wesley seriously couldn't get enough of them. You could probably freeze them once completely cooled and pull them out for a breakfast on the go, but they wouldn't last that long in this house!

Banana Applesauce Crescents

1 banana
1/2 cup natural unsweetened applesauce
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
8oz can refrigerated crescent rolls (8 count)

Place banana in small bowl and mash with fork. Mix in applesauce, brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined. Unroll crescent triangles. Spread 1 - 2 tablespoons banana applesauce filling on triangle and roll up into a crescent shape (some filling will smoosh out, that's ok). Place filled crescents on cookie sheet at bake at 375 degrees for 11 - 13 minutes.

The sneaky one stealing mid-picture.

:) Yummy!

  10. I was looking for a recipe to use up my two packs of crescent rolls and the jar of applesauce I got the other day (and happened to have some bananas that needed to be eaten too), and stumbled across this one using a google search. Thanks for the great recipe! I upped the measurements due to the two crescent roll packs and brushed a mixture of melted butter, sugar and cinnamon on them when they came out of the oven, but they turned out great! <3

  11. Three: Answer questions but also ask your own - Don't be afraid to ask
your own questions on top of answering their questions. I made sure to not
choose the company with the lowest price, as they might be dodgy.
There are many ways these estimates can help you
make an informed choice so you don't end up hiring the wrong company
and ending up with problems you don't need or want at this stressful time in your life.
