Slow Cooker Raspberry Balsamic Meatballs By Kelly Miller • December7,2017 • Updated February 10, 2020 • 3 Comments 3.4K 12 Jump to Recipe Jump to VideoSlow Cooker Raspberry Balsamic Meatballs are the perfect glazed meatballs for a party! Raspberry preserves, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings make these slow cooker frozen meatballs the perfect bite-sized appetizer recipe! This recipe is sort of a twist on the classic grape jelly meatballs that everyone loves to make around the holidays for Christmas parties and New Year’s parties. I’ve had those before and I definitely prefer this recipe for slow cooker frozen meatballs below. The original is very sweet, but this one has a much deeper flavor which I think it due to the balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. It only leaves me with one question. Who in the world thought this up in the first place?! I mean I obviously cannot take credit for the original idea of sweet glazed meatball appetizers, even though I’ve tweaked this recipe as my own. Really though, the list of ingredients on their own really don’t sound like they’d go well together at all. Please tell me it’s not just me!! Something magical happens in that Crockpot to make these flavors meld together. The sweet raspberry preserves and sugar combine with the sauces and ginger to make a perfect glaze coating the meatballs. If you are planning on serving this at a party, just keep the meatballs in the slow cooker on the “keep warm” setting. Guests can just grab some with a few toothpick to eat as they mingle. Perfect!
