Just place them in a slow cooker, make the amazing BBQ sauce with ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and coffee, and let it cook to perfection! You will never use another recipe again after tasting these ribs, I’m sure of it! What is the difference between beef short ribs and spare ribs? Basically, spare ribs are pork ribs. Beef ribs, or beef short ribs are the same as spare ribs only… well, beef! And even in our pork loving family, beef ribs are always better – ha! How long does it take to cook slow cooker beef ribs? In order for optimum “fall off the bone” results, slow cook beef ribs for 7 – 8 hours on LOW setting. If you don’t have a full 8 hours, you can set it to HIGH setting and cook them for 5 hours, but they won’t be as mouth watering! Debbie says February 26, 2021 at 4:59 pm I made your Slow Cooker Beef Ribs recipe but did not see where and when to add cornstarch. I’m assuming you add after you remove the ribs and onions and after you skim off the fat. Let me know for sure. I making these for dinner and am looking forward to them. They are in crockpot as we speak. Having my son come over for dinner he is a big rib fan. Reply
