Delicious cookies that stack and freeze wonderfully! Well, summer is officially on its way out here in the Miller household! Honestly, I am MORE than ready. We had an amazing summer and I am so thankful for the time we were able to spend as a family of 4. The last summer as a family of 4, actually! One week left. Soccer for Silas begins a week from Monday. His first day of school starts that Tuesday. Then Wesley starts soccer the following week. Then sometime after that Wesley starts PreK. They practice each Monday and Wednesday. Lucky for me it’s at the same park. Unlucky for me, it’s two different fields. And Paul has class and is leading a Bible study both days during the week. Still not quite sure how I’m pulling this one off – but if I’m going to call myself “soccer mom extraordinaire” I better live up to the name! …Ok, I’m definitely NOT calling myself that! With two active little boys and another one on the way, we’ll be trucking kids to sports for years to come so I better get used to the crazy schedules I think! We took the boys out to the field to break in their new soccer spikes and give Wesley a chance to run around and kick the ball for the first time. I already have our soccer bag packed and ready to go, but I also made these Peanut Butter and Jelly Thumbprint Cookies as a special treat while we were there. Not only were they a hit with Silas and Wesley, their friends loved them too! I really love how the jelly in the cookies “set” after baking and cooling. They’re perfect for stacking in lunch boxes or sending in plastic baggies. For us, they’re the perfect treat after a long day at school!
