A cheese Danish in coffee cake form! Every person in my family is seriously obsessed with all things baked. And I’m not talking baked chicken, I’m talking baked goods here, people! Cake, cupcakes, muffins, doughnuts, brownies, pies, cookies… yep. All that extremely healthy stuff. My dad calls it his “sweet tooth” and we laugh at him when he says it, but in reality we ALL have a major sweet tooth. So there you are dad, vindication. 🙂 My mom is one to buy an assortment of baked goods for breakfast whenever she knows a lot of people will be over and I admit that I love it. I’m way to cheap to buy premade muffins and danish at the store because gosh darn it I run a food blog and I ought to be able to make the same stuff at home. In reality, it’s good that I’m that cheap because Paul would never eat the stuff and I’d gain 10 – 30 pounds just looking it sit there before eating the whole thing myself! Cheese danish though, that’s always the first thing to go. We all love our cheesecake and cheese danish wraps it in pastry, drizzles some icing over the whole thing, and calls it a day. I believe the first time I made this Cheese Danish Coffee Cake the entire thing was gone in minutes and was talked about. That’s when you know you’ve found a good one. 🙂 Seriously, you will need to restrain yourself from this one. There will be no further warning. 🙂 Some more “sweet tooth” breakfast ideas right here: Blueberry Cheesecake Muffins Cookie Butter Coffee Cake Cheese Danish Coffee Cake Cheese Danish Coffee Cake recipe made with crescent rolls, cheesecake filling and topped with cinnamon sugar.
