Full of leftover turkey, green beans, carrots, cream of mushroom soup, and topped with crispy onions! My mom holds Thanksgiving dinner at her house every year. Her house is always decorated so nicely and she has a large kitchen where everyone, even the kiddos, can eat comfortably. Of course I’m totally jealous of her double oven! That definitely makes preparing dinner for 14+ people way more feasible, that’s for sure! One thing that makes me wish we were having Thanksgiving dinner at my house is for all those yummy leftovers. Sweet potato casserole, stuffing, green beans, and of course – loads of turkey. For that reason, we usually find ourselves over at my mom’s house in between shopping trips throughout that weekend. We just can’t resist! It’s one of those times of the year where you have classic comfort food casseroles that we typically don’t make aside from Thanksgiving or Christmas. This year, though, I took advantage of the awesome turkey deals at our local grocery stores and scored a cheap one for us to enjoy into the New Year. Yay for yummy leftovers! This Creamy Turkey Noodle Soup is the perfect recipe to have on hand for all that extra turkey you’ll have next weekend. This is an easy one-pot meal that is ready in no time – perfect for a quick bite in between deal shopping! A bowl of this easy turkey soup is so warm and comforting after a chilly day – perfect for gathering the family around again!
