No Bake Nutella Cheesecake

January 11, 2014
This one-bowl, no-bake dessert combines rich Nutella spread with sweet cheesecake for an quick, easy, and delish treat!

So the story goes that I had a jar of Nutella in the pantry, oodles of cream cheese in the fridge, and a ready-made graham cracker crust just waiting to be used up. I know the results are probably obvious (being that you're here looking for the recipe and all). But I'm going to let you in on a little secret.

I'm not a huge fan of Nutella.

Please don't tell all my food blogger friends!! I feel like you have to be in love with the stuff to be in the food blogger club. It's just SO sososo rich. The only thing I like eating that's rich like that is chocolate, pure and simple.

But, I had the ingredients just all waiting to be made up and I decided to give it a whirl. After all, it uses up the whole jar and now I don't have it staring at me telling me what a horrible foodie I am.

Oh my wow. When Nutella combines with cheesecake, I feel like something magical happens. It distributes the rich flavor into cheesecake and it tastes amazing! Not to mention, this is by far the easiest one-bowl no-bake cheesecake I've ever made. Fool proof and quick, a win win for me!

No Bake Nutella Cheesecake

2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened at room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
13 oz jar Nutella hazelnut spread
prepared 9 inch graham cracker crust
whipped cream

Beat cream cheese and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy. Add in vanilla and Nutella and beat another 5 minutes or until evenly combined with the cream cheese mixture. Spread into pie crust smoothing out the top with a spatula. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours. Serve with whipped cream.

Recipes this easy shouldn't be this good, I'm telling you!!
