Recently, appetizers have been one of my favorite types of food to try out and create! From Thanksgiving through Christmas and into New Year’s, we just have so many parties and get-togethers planned. Our usual appetizer spread is cheese and crackers, bacon dip and pretzels, garlic dip and pretzels… and that’s about it. Pretty sad, I think! Our family really likes dips, as you can tell, and we devour bean dip as soon as it’s put in front of us. Bean dip, though, is one of those recipes that I feel like we never make the same way twice! Over the years, I’ve made it and my sister has made it – and they were both really good – I just couldn’t tell you how it came together exactly! I think it’s just that we’re usually so preoccupied with the main dinner, that appetizers get pushed to the side. At least the appetizers that take a bit more preparation than just mixing the dip and sitting it out. I’m realizing though, as I try some new ones out to possibly share with all of you, with even just a bit more effort you can make amazingly delicious apps that will be the hit of the party! These Bean Dip Bites are exactly that – everyone’s favorite party bean dip in miniature bite form! Feel free to offer various toppings for your guests: sour cream, green onion, and hot sauce are some great ideas. I think the fun edges of the won ton wrappers make these appetizers look like they’re ready to party – so much fun!
