You’ll get 2 loaves of this cinnamon bread from one cake mix! The mornings are always my most productive time of the day. I used to love sleeping in, but I haven’t seem to be able to for the past… oh… 5 years. Not that Paul hasn’t given me the opportunity to, occasionally. My internal clock winds up waking me up at just around normal time. Although, I should say the mornings USED to be my most productive time. I suppose, it depends on what I consider “productive.” By the time I settle down with my laptop and hot coffee, this is the usual turn of events: 1. Wesley wakes up and is adorable, so I let him snuggle next to me. 2. Wesley wants to watch a show. 3. It takes approximately 20 minutes of him saying “go over” as I scroll through the kid shows on Netflix. 4. Wesley chooses Thomas Misty Island Rescue, as I knew he would. 5. I figure I should change his diaper before he pees on me. 6. 2nd sip of my lukewarm coffee. 7. Silas comes down the stairs. 8. Silas can’t find his Mario blanket, so I go looking. 9. Wesley wants his own blanket, so I make him go get it so I can 10. Take a 3rd sip of my cold coffee. Productive? Yes, I would say so. Getting stuff done? Not really. At least they’re “Good morning, Mommy’s and early morning snuggles make up for it, right? 🙂 These Sunrise Cinnamon Breads are perfect if you’re super crazy in the mornings like I am. Two breads from one cake mix, my kind of recipe! Make one and freeze the other, or better yet, give the 2nd one away to a neighbor who might need a little “sunrise” to their morning. Another frazzled mommy with a cold cup of coffee in her hand, perhaps? 🙂 My kids went nuts for this too, so if you’re really desperate for a quiet morning, give them a slice of this at the table and sit down to peruse Facebook in peace. Not that I did that or anything. 😉 Here are some more of my favorite bread recipes:Bisquick Banana Nut Bread Secret Ingredient Chocolate Banana Bread Apple Streusel Bread Cake Mix Bread This amazing Cake Mix Bread recipe uses yellow cake mix, oil, eggs and topped with cinnamon sugar.
