A warm bowl of Irish Oatmeal is perfect on a chilly morning! Steel cut oats with brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins - filling and delicious!
In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil. Stir in oats.
Lower the heat to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in brown sugar, cinnamon and salt.
Divide among 3 bowls. Top with optional raisins before serving.
