- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 oz pkg miniature chocolate chips
- optional: sanding sugar for topping muffins
In a small bowl, whisk together milk, oil and eggs.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips.
Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until batter is moistened, but will still be lumpy.
Divide batter evenly among 24 muffin cups lined with paper muffin liners.
Sprinkle the tops generously with sanding sugar.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
