Ingredients

  • 10 oz frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare peas according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan over medium - low heat. Whisk in flour and stir until well combined. 
  • Gradually add in milk, while stirring. Bring the heat up to medium and bring to a boil. Continue stirring and cooking for 2 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir in drained peas. Serve immediately.
