- 4 turnips peeled and chopped
- 1 potato peeled and chopped
- 2 tbsp cream cheese softened to room temperature
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp chili powder
Place peeled and chopped turnips and potato in a large saucepan.
Cover with water.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until vegetables are easily pierced with a fork.
Drain and transfer vegetables to a large mixing bowl.
Add remaining ingredients.
Blend well with a hand mixer.
Serve immediately.
