- 1 cup butter melted and cooled
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 16 oz cream cheese frosting
Beat melted butter, pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until creamy.
In a separate bowl, stir together flour and spices.
Gradually add this to the wet mixture, beating well.
Spread batter into a well-greased square baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes.
Cool completely before frosting.
