Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pineapple preserves

Instructions

  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Mix with hands until everything is combined.
  • Press ground beef mixture into loaf pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl mix ketchup, brown sugar, and pineapple preserves.
  • Pour over meatloaf in pan and bake an additional 20 minutes, or internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
  • Slice and serve.
