Ingredients

  • 3 medium bananas mashed
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup chunky applesauce
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together bananas, buttermilk, applesauce, and eggs.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add in the banana mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Add chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
