4 teaspoons minced garlic or 4 cloves 2 tablespoons dried minced onion 28 oz can tomato sauce 28 oz can crushed tomatoes water 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 tablespoon ground black pepper 12 oz frozen cheese tortellini 4 cups fresh spinach roughly chopped kosher salt to taste parmesan cheese
Mix together garlic, onion, tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, pepper, and 28oz can of water.
Bring to a boil.
Add frozen tortellini and spinach, reduce heat to medium, and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
Soup is done when tortellini is warmed though and spinach is wilted.
Add salt as needed and serve with crusty bread and some parmesan cheese.
