Apple Cinnamon Bread
Apple Cinnamon Bread made with chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 apples peeled, cored, and diced
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar, McCormick Gourmet Cinnamon and McCormick Gourmet Nutmeg.
In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar, and eggs.
Add in flour, baking powder, and milk.
Stir until just moistened.
Spray a loaf pan with non stick spray.
Spread half of the batter into the pan.
Top the batter with half of the chopped apples and half of the brown sugar mixture.
Repeat these layers once more.
Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.
Allow bread to cool before slicing and serving.
