  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Saigon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 apples peeled, cored, and diced


  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar, McCormick Gourmet Cinnamon and McCormick Gourmet Nutmeg.
  • In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar, and eggs.
  • Add in flour, baking powder, and milk.
  • Stir until just moistened.
  • Spray a loaf pan with non stick spray.
  • Spread half of the batter into the pan.
  • Top the batter with half of the chopped apples and half of the brown sugar mixture.
  • Repeat these layers once more.
  • Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.
  • Allow bread to cool before slicing and serving.
