- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp apple pie spice
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/2 cups apples peeled and chopped
- whipped cream
Beat butter, egg, and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, stir together apple pie spice, flour, salt, and baking soda.
Gradually beat flour mixture into the sugar mixture until just moistened.
Gently stir in chopped apples.
Spread into a greased pie dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
