Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon diced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 6.5 oz cans chopped clams
  • 12 oz evaporated milk
  • 2 10.75 oz cans cream of potato soup
  • 2 potatoes peeled and diced small
  • salt to taste
  • oyster crackers for garnish

Instructions

  • Saute the diced bacon and onion in a soup pot over medium heat until onion is soft and translucent.
  • Add in chopped clams with juice, evaporated milk, cream of potato soup, and diced potatoes. Bring to a boil stirring, and then reduce heat to a simmer.
  • Continue cooking 25 minutes stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender. Add salt to taste.
  • Serve warm with oyster crackers.
