  • 4 cups milk divided
  • 3.4 oz package instant vanilla pudding
  • 3.4 oz package instant chocolate pudding
  • 11 oz box vanilla wafers
  • 3 bananas sliced
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 8 oz Cool Whip thawed
  • maraschino cherries drained and patted dry

  • Prepare instant vanilla and chocolate puddings in separate bowls, using two cups of milk each. Allow each to sit for 5 minutes to thicken up.
  • In the bottom of your trifle dish, lay enough vanilla wafers to make two layers of cookies on top of each other, about 30 - 40 cookies.
  • Spread vanilla pudding over cookies. Place banana slices over vanilla pudding, drizzle chocolate syrup over bananas, and then make another layer of vanilla wafer cookies.
  • Spread chocolate pudding over cookies, and then spread whipped topping evenly over chocolate pudding. Arrange cherries over whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate at least an hour or ideally overnight. Serve cold.
