Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup diced onion I used frozen
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 2 celery stalks diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes undrained
  • 1 can kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can great northern beans drained and rinsed
  • 3 cups beef stock
  • 25 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 3/4 cup orzo **uncooked**
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • kosher salt to taste
  • parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except orzo to slow cooker.
  • Cook on low 8 hours or on high 4 hours.
  • Add orzo during the last 30 minutes.
  • Serve with parmesan cheese.
