Pumpkin Apple Butter made with chopped apple, pumpkin puree, apple juice, brown sugar, and spices. This spread is perfect for crackers or toast!

- 15 oz can pumpkin puree
- 1 large apple peeled and diced small
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Place all ingredients into a medium saucepan.
Stir to combine well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cook for about 1 hour.
Check to see if apples are soft, cook an additional 30 minutes if needed.
Transfer to a small food processor and blend until smooth (I leave some chunks).
Serve with crackers or with toast and butter.
