Ingredients

  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 green pepper seeded and sliced into rings
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 oz Barilla Pronto Penne Pasta
  • 24 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup shaved Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Drizzle olive oil in the bottom of a large skillet. Add chicken, green pepper, and mushrooms. Saute over medium high heat until chicken is cooked through, about 8 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Drain any extra liquid from pain, return to stove, and add dry penne. Stir in 3 cups cold water and cook over high heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  • Add chicken & vegetables back to skillet along with sauce. Stir to coat and cook an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve topped with shaved Parmesan cheese.
