Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp apple pie spice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cups apples peeled and chopped
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  • Beat butter, egg, and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, stir together apple pie spice, flour, salt, and baking soda.
  • Gradually beat flour mixture into the sugar mixture until just moistened.
  • Gently stir in chopped apples.
  • Spread into a greased pie dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
