Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 29 oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground spices.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, add beaten eggs, pumpkin puree, milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Beat wet ingredients with a hand mixer until well combined.
  • Combine both the dry and wet mixture into a very large mixing bowl.
  • Stir until ingredients are just moistened.
  • Add in chocolate chips and stir.
  • Evenly divide batter among 3 greased 9 inch loaf pans.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes, when a cake tester comes out clean.
  • Cool loaves on wire racks before serving.
