Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter softened
  • 6 tbsp mayo
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 loaf French bread sliced in half lengthwise

Instructions

  • In a bowl, blend together butter, mayo, garlic, Parmesan, and oregano.
  • Spread evenly over cut sides of French bread.
  • Wrap each half tightly with foil.
  • Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
  • Carefully unwrap halves.
  • Broil on high in the oven for 2 - 3 minutes or until edges of bread are browned and crispy (keep a close eye to make sure the bread doesn't burn).
  • Cool slightly, then slice and serve.
