2 bags microwave popcorn popped 2 cups apple chips diced 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp baking soda
Pick out any unpopped kernels from the popcorn and place popped popcorn into a large, greased roasting pan.
Stir in apple chip pieces and set aside.
Heat butter, corn syrup, and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until mixture comes to a rolling boil.
Allow mixture to boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda until lighter in color and slightly fluffy.
Pour mixture over popcorn and apple chips in roasting pan. Stir to coat well.
Bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes, removing pan from the oven and stirring at 15 minute intervals.
Allow mixture to cool. Break up into small pieces and serve immediately or store in a sealed container.
