Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

Frozen bread dough stuffed with a garlic Parmesan spread and rolled up with mozzarella and pepperoni - the perfect easy lunch or dinner for the kiddos!

Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough thawed
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 16 oz pkg pepperoni
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar pizza sauce warmed

Instructions

  • Be sure to read the instructions on the frozen bread dough for proper thawing/rising. Once risen, roll one loaf of dough to a 12 inch rectangle on a well floured surface.
  • In a small bowl, combine beaten eggs, parsley, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Spread half of this mixture over the dough leaving about 1/4 inch margin around all sides.
  • Layer with half of the pepperoni and half of the mozzarella.
  • Tightly roll up length-wise and place seam side down on a greased cookie sheet. Repeat for remaining dough. 
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool, slice, and serve with warmed pizza sauce.
