Easy Tiramisu Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 oz family size frozen pound cake thawed according to package
  • 16 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sugar plus 2 tablespoons, divided
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • 8 oz Cool Whip thawed according to package
  • 1 cup brewed coffee room temperature
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Slice pound cake into 30 even slices, set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and almond extract until creamy.

  3. Gently fold in whipped cream.

  4. In a separate small bowl, stir together coffee and 2 tablespoons sugar.

  5. Assemble cake by laying 15 pound cake slices in the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Drizzle 1/2 cup of coffee over slices.

  6. Spread half of cream cheese mixture over slices.

  7. Repeat a second layer using remaining pound cake slices, coffee, and cream cheese.

  8. Dust top of cake with powdered sugar. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
