A chocolate cupcake recipe with Devil's food chocolate cake mix, miniature chocolate chips and milk chocolate buttercream frosting.
Line 24 muffin cups with paper liners. In a mixing bowl, beat cake mix, eggs, water, and oil for two minutes.
Gently stir in chocolate chips. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups, about 3 tablespoons in each.
Bake at 350 for length of time directed on box. Cool completely.
In another mixing bowl, stir together cocoa powder and powdered sugar. Add in butter, vanilla extract, and 5 tablespoons milk.
Beat well. Add an additional tablespoon of milk for better consistency if needed.
Pipe or spread onto cupcakes. Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles.
