Ingredients

  • 3 oz semi sweet chocolate
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 9 inch Oreo cookie pie crust
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 3.9 oz packages instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
  • 8 oz Cool Whip thawed and divided

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate in a microwave safe bowl according to package directions, being careful not to scorch.

  2. Stir in sweetened condensed milk.

  3. Spread into bottom of pie crust. Sprinkle evenly with chopped pecans.

  4. In a medium bowl, beat together dry pudding mix and milk for two minutes. Spoon 1 1/2 cups of the pudding mixture over pecans.

  5. Stir half of Cool Whip into remaining pudding mixture. Spread evenly over pudding layer.

  6. Refrigerate at least 2 hours (or overnight). Serve with additional plain Cool Whip if desired.
