Ingredients

  • 8 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 lb thin sliced black forest deli ham
  • 8 oz baby bella mushrooms sliced
  • 8 slices swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 3 cups fresh potato bread cubes
  • 1/2 cup butter melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  • Spray the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish with nonstick spray. Place chicken in the bottom of the dish (slice them in half if they're really thick).
  • Top chicken with sliced ham, fresh mushrooms, and sliced swiss cheese. In a small bowl, whisk together water and soup. Spread evenly over dish.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together bread cubes and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over casserole. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. (Remove foil for last 15 minutes of bake time to brown the top of the casserole).
