Crockpot Roasted Sugared Pecans

Halved pecans tossed with butter, powdered sugar, and spices and slow cooked until glazed. These make wonderful Christmas gifts!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp allspice

Instructions

  1. Place pecan halves in the bottom of a slow cooker. Drizzle melted butter over pecans and stir to coat well.

  2. Add powdered sugar, cinnamon, and allspice. Stir well until all ingredients are incorporated.

  3. Leave the lid off and cook on high for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

  4. Spread pecans onto a lined cookie sheet to dry completely, about 30 minutes. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container or gift packaging.
